We’re on our way back home to Pila from the Winterberg iXS Dirt Masters festival. This was the second stop of the season. The vibe was electric. My ears are still buzzing from the raging crowd that was cheering. There we’re so many people packed on that small ski village, all you could see is a wave of heads and hands. It was as noisy as a football stadium. Nuts!

Gee Atherton wins Downhill at iXS Dirt Masters Festival

After crowded parking lots and campsites, today, the view is a different one. The whole bikepark seems rather deserted: The streets are empty and the clear-up has already started. We’re looking back at an exciting and emotional weekend with a lot of action, sports and fun at the 7th iXS Dirt Masters Festival in Winterberg.

Fourcross, Seeding Run, Bergline and Sun

Day Three of the iXS Dirt Masters Festival was hot in more than just one way. The sun provided the riders with perfect weather conditions and a smooth track in the downhill seeding run and the fourcross finals. Still, the biggest action of the day was definitely the Red Bull Berg Line Contest.

The iXS Dirt Masters Festival is in full swing, the campsites are crowded and nearly all of the GDC participants are already on the track, while we are still waiting for the sun.

7th iXS Dirt Masters Festival Day 1

Yesterday, the iXS Dirt Masters Festival in Winterberg opened its doors to numerous enthusiastic visitors, exhibitors and riders. The first results were already achieved in the iXS Rookies Cup, a special downhill series for a younger generation of riders.

All riders of the Free-Categories have to show the passport for identification at the number plate handing out. Unlicensed riders under age of 18 require a declaration of consent by their parents or other legal guardian.
