iXS EDC Round 2 🎬

The second round of the iXS EDC will take place as part of the "Bike Kingdom Feast" in Lenzerheide. In addition to the race, there will also be fun events, shows, workshops and an after-show party for visitors to experience. Once again, Switzerland invites you to enjoy its local culture and hospitality.

10 years of racing 🏁

Downhill sport has a fascinating history in Lenzerheide, which began back in 2014. Since then, the Graubünden vacation resort has established itself as a permanent fixture on the mountain bike calendar and hosts World Cup races in various disciplines every year.

Former Swiss Cup 🏆

In 2014 and 2015, the organization crew prepared for the World Cup under expert guidance. The course at the then iXS Swiss Downhill Cup already featured fast sections, big jumps and technically challenging passages, such as the Rockgarden. Big names such as Brendan Fairclough and Steve Peat could already be seen on the podium back then, and it was not least their input that guaranteed the perfect start to a long event tradition.

Stars of the scene ⭐️

Thanks to the consistent organization of top-class events and the support of the local community, Lenzerheide is undoubtedly always a highlight in the mountain bike racing calendar. Year after year, it attracts both riders and spectators from all over the world. The biggest highlight was certainly the 2018 World Championships with around 80,000 visitors.

Downhill Deluxe ⛏️

The course in Lenzerheide is famous for its technical challenge and beautiful mountain scenery. Two sections that are otherwise inaccessible are opened up for the race. With a length of 2 kilometers, it leads 460 meters down into one of the most beautiful finishes on the race calendar. In the World Cup, this was the shortest course on the calendar.

The race in Lenzerheide is from June 21-23, 2024, so the second round of the iXS EDC will be another highlight after Losinj in April. In addition to various other events at the "Bike Kingdom Feast", MTB enthusiasts can once again enjoy the full downhill program. Registration for participants opens on April 23 at 17:00.
