The iXS European Downhill Cup is set for another rollercoaster ride on two wheels with the penultimate race of the season in Verbier. The Swiss jewel in the Valais will be the sixth race in the series in 2024 and will provide pure excitement for spectators and racers alike.

Tires Fire 🔥

The legendary "Tires Fire" course is once again the setting for this race. The starting point at an altitude of 2,090 meters below Les Ruinettes throws the riders straight into a section full of thrills. With a track length of 2,800 meters and a difference in altitude of 430 meters, the course can make even the most experienced talents of the sport break out in a sweat.

From high-speed passages to technical challenges, Tires Fire is a true test of the riders' nerves and skills. Stone fields, jumps, offsets - the track is straight out of the course designer's catalog. And as if that wasn't enough, there is also the agony of choice when it comes to the various lines. One wrong decision can mean the difference between glory and the end.

The race runs from September 13 - 15. Registration opens on July 16 at 5:00 pm. The penultimate race on the EDC calendar is a real recommendation.
