Top times in the mud
Despite these extreme conditions, the riders delivered impressive performances. The best time of the day by Sam Gale (NZL - MMAP), who flew over the slippery surface with breathtaking speed and masterful control, was particularly outstanding.
Equally impressive was the performance of Rosa Marie Jensen (DEN - Gen-S), a young rider from the Open U17 female category, who secured the fastest time of the day for women and was therefore faster than the winner of the Elite Women category Kine Haugom (NOR - DH Talent Team). Briek Van Duyse's (BEL - naos-optics) ride is also worth mentioning. He came within 2 seconds of Sam Gale's time in the Pro U17 times category.
